Australian Vaping Regulation Change (Mar 1, 2024)

Australian Orders (Mar 1, 2024-onwards)

As you may now know, Australian government has now decided to ban personal importing of ALL vape equipment (incl. pods/coils) and e-liquids (incl. 0mg) as of March 1, 2024. 

This means all shipments consisting of the respective items will be seized and destroyed, if the Australian Border Force catches you importing, unless you have a special permit.

If you wish to stock up before the ban, we recommend making the order ASAP. The order must pass through the customs before March 1, 2024.

The law does not apply for us here in New Zealand.

If you still wish to take the risk, you're welcome to continue making orders. We will still ship passed March 1, 2024 for you.

However, please note we can't take liability if your parcel gets seized or if you get fined. You'll have to order at your own risk. We will also not be able to assist you in any way.

How to get nicotine e-liquids, pods and unflavoured nicotine in Australia?

As of October 1st, 2021, nicotine e-liquids, pods, and unflavoured nicotine is classified as a schedule 4 prescription only medicine. This means you will have to find a doctor that will prescribe your vaping as a smoking cessation aide. (If you use 0mg products, this does not apply and you can order as per usual, although you will soon require a script for ALL vaping products)

Do I need a nicotine prescription immediately?

Yes, your prescription must be attached or they will be unable to accept the parcel.

Where do I get a nicotine prescription for Australia?

We can only imagine how frustrating this law change must be for you, but there is some good news in that our customers have found obtaining a script to be relatively quick and easy from one of the following providers:

I have my prescription. How do I attach it to the order?

Once you have your prescription, you'll need upload it to your order, and thankfully, we've made this super easy for you.

On ANY nicotine product, you'll see an "Australia Only: Nicotine Prescription", click the "Choose File" button and select your prescription.

This only has to be uploaded ONCE per order on any of the nicotine products you are purchasing. The next time you place an order, you will have to upload your script again.

What happens if I order nicotine e-liquids, pods or unflavoured nicotine without a prescription to Australia?

We'll get in touch with you to obtain the respective document.

Your prescription must contain the following:

  • The date of issue
  • The name of address of the patient
  • Particulars of the medicine including the name, strength and quantity
  • The number of times the may be supplied under the written authority and
  • The name, address, telephone number and Australian prescriber number of the Australian registered medical practitioner giving the written authority

Please note: The shipping companies will only accept actual prescriptions (not QR codes or screenshots) so please provide the original digital prescription when uploading.
